| Welcome to Commonwealth Biomedical Research, LLC., an independent, full time dedicated clinical research company. Founded in 1994, Commonwealth first began as a medical writing and consulting business to the pharmaceutical industry. In 1998 Commonwealth began performing human clinical studies and has participated in more than 300 outpatient and hospital inpatient studies. Commonwealth Biomedical Research is located in Madisonville, Kentucky centrally located within 50 miles of southern Indiana, southern Illinois and northern Tennessee. Commonwealth has more than 7500 active patient files. Doctor Wittmer's family practice sees about twenty to thirty patients a day of which many choose to participate in our clinical trials. |

Since its inception, CBR has conducted over 300 clinical trials in a wide range of medical specialties for the pharmaceutical industry. CBR’s experienced research staff of professional clinical coordinators with diverse backgrounds, as well as regulatory recruiting, data entry, budget and contract expertise, provides sponsors with a hands-on management team. This combination of highly trained professionals makes CBR a valuable resource for companies conducting Phase 1 through Phase IV clinical trials. |
| Patient Demographics |
Commonwealth Biomedical Research has patient recruiters that pull patients from our comprised database of patients that have been gathered from screening clinics, referrals, Dr. Wittmer's Family Practice, other MD referrals, and previous study patients. Commonwealth Biomedical Research pulls patients from Western Kentucky, Southern Illinois, Southern Indiana, and Northern Tennessee. Commonwealth's recruiting department screens all applicants so we can select reliable and compliant patients. |

Commonwealth Biomedical Research LLC's medical research facility boasts the industry’s finest employees including RN's, MLT's and a paramedic to ensure your patient's safety needs are met. We also hace ACRP certified PI and CRC on staff. Full training records and a comprehensive SOP's. Our equipment includes two minus 70 degree celcius freezers, four refrigerated centrifuges, two 2-8° C refrigeration units, equipment to produce dry-Ice on-site, a telemetry unit, triple lock drug storage system and twenty-four hour video surveillance.
Study Coordinator offices are equipped with T1 line access, analog line access, fax machine, copier, pulse oximeters, thermometer, sphygmometer, and stethscope.
